Ordering and Returns
Please be aware that ordering through the website does not guarantee the exact fulfillment of your order, including adherence to specified prices and quantities. All orders undergo a comprehensive review and finalization process by your assigned account representative.
Returns Policy:
- Approval Requirement: No merchandise returns will be accepted without prior approval from the Generation Trade, Inc. (GTI) office.
- Responsibility for Damage: Damage resulting from customer misuse, abuse, or regular wear and tear is not the responsibility of GTI.
- Return Eligibility:
- No returns or exchanges on new merchandise in good condition.
- No returns or exchanges on “Close Outs.”
- Claims for defective merchandise or missing parts must be made within 48 hours from the time of delivery.
- Exchange for manufacturers’ defects is valid for 90 days from the date of delivery.
- Case-by-Case Handling: All other return requests are handled on a case-by-case basis after inspection to determine the extent of damage, responsibility, and the availability of replacements.
- Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee of the original invoice will apply to all return items deemed not to be shipped damaged or incorrect.
- Credit Process:
- All returns and exchanges result in GTI store credit.
- Credits are normally processed within two business days of receiving the returned product.
- If no original invoice is provided, credit processing may be significantly delayed.
- Past Due Balances: If you have a past due balance, any credits will be immediately applied to your outstanding balance.
